Learning Target(s)	I CAN...participate in an academic discussion about a scholarly article to learn more about a topic and to help others understand different viewpoints.
Daily Activities	1. Small groups - go through the article you did did a CLOSE read with and discuss.  Use a different color pen to add ideas and information to your article that are new to you.

Tuesday (Jan. 6)

Learning Target(s)	I CAN...participate in an academic discussion about a scholarly article to learn more about a topic and to help others understand different viewpoints.
Daily Activities	1. Large group share about article - each small group will share two main points about the article that their group discussed (no repeats of what other groups shared)
